Minyon Conley Patterson aka “Filet Minyon” loves Networking and a born Entrepreneur, far before having any idea of what an entrepreneur was. Born in Atlanta, GA on the historical day our President John F Kennedy was assassinated… a Leader was born, “Minyon”. A little about me… I discovered at age 12 that I was the Leader of the pack in my neighborhood since age 7. I started out braiding hair at age 14 and continued until I landed in a hair salon under a magnificent male stylist as his apprentice. By 16 I obtained 2 more part-time jobs which laid the foundation for my “work-a-holism”. After High School, I joined the United States Air Force and served 8 years traveling the nation and overseas, learning to speak Korean and living in their domestic community. Immediately following the military I connected with Corporate America in the Admin arena on an Executive level. For 20+ years of my adult life I worked for top level management from Air Force Officers to Corp. CEOs, VPs and Company Owners as their left-hand support person. Little did I know that I was being groomed to someday be “The CEO”.
By 2003 I’d explored a few home-based businesses and tried some of them only to realize that selling was not my forte; but interacting with people was a natural pleasure. I’d also acknowledged by then that I was very burned out with working for others that did not edify and gratify my value as an integral part of the growth of THEIR organization. Adhering to the prompting of the presence of God in my life, I stepped out of Corporate America into Freedom & Peace of Mind… “Walking by Faith and not by sight.” In 2004, I partnered with an Honest, Ethical INC500 Company with an Authentic Business Model much different from MLM and there’s no selling, inventory or products to handle; a 19-yr Debt-free proven track record, achieved Inc 500 Hall of Fame and over $700 million strong. I quickly learned that this was the place for me to use my developed skills, talents and expertise to articulate my own success. Now in 2010, I've been working from Home full-time since 2006 and changing many lives along the way by educating Consumers how to use a Unique shopping system to save them money and enhance their quality of life. We are celebrating 25 yrs of success over $1 Billion strong and recipients of the BBB Hall of Fame and many other accolades that I am grateful to be a part of.
Finally, I’m embracing the freedom of working in my home office with the structure of a solid foundation that is building my financial future with a Reliable Residual income that will last a lifetime. Not to mention the comfort of experiencing creating an inheritance for my children and their children. I excitedly spend my days helping others enjoy their lives and freedom. Networking and enhancing the lives of others has truly become one of my favorite passions, I actually met my husband networking and we became networking partners for about 8 months before we ever shared any personal interest in each other. We have 5 daughters; one B.S. in Biology Grad studying for CSI, 2 still in College in Texas and St. Louis, one mother of 3 and the youngest daughter finishing High School, working her own hair braiding business, part-time at McDonald’s and preparing for the US Air Force. As the cliché goes, “the apples don’t fall far from the tree…”; 4 of them are already entrepreneurs. We’ve groomed them in the essence of “being your own boss” and creating your own future. My husband’s still my favorite networking partner and powerful personal developer, he’s been working his home-based business 10 years so far.
