Why are women better leaders?  According to some scholars, women tend to surpass men in consensus-building and certain other skills associated with leadership.  Women leaders are more likely to mentor and coach others to create a strong team atmosphere.    They encourage genuine collaboration and embrace the empowerment of others.   They are passionate about building trust and lasting relationships.  Women leaders believe in the power of helping other women.

Please send me success stories of Boomers who have started Businesses, are making Bucks and solving their retirement financial difficulties - READ ON!

There are many gloomy statistics floating around the news stories of today, but one is of particular interest to me, as a "Leading Edge Boomer". We have all seen the articles and news reports stating that around 50% of "Boomers" - those born between 1946 and 1964 - are approaching their retirement with a financial portfolio, which is inadequate to support them for the remainder of their days.

The current torrent of foreclosures in the US will engulf many more boomers, significantly worsening, if not devastating their finances.

Social networking is serious business! This is social networking for the 21st century, one in which every business owner should get on board with. As entrepreneurs, it is essential that you continually generate new ideas in order to maximize the profit-making potential of your venture.

Social media is a great way to leverage your products or services. It is an easy and inexpensive way to connect to people around the world and an opportunity to make friends with people who have similar interests, find solutions to problems they might have by collaborating with others, as well as attract clients that might need your products or services.
Be more strategic.

Karmen Brown

Hi my name is Karmen. I'm 24 years old and for the first time in my life, I feel as if I'm in the "in between" stage. What's the "in between" stage, you ask? For me, I'm not a girl but I don't consider myself a full fledged woman. I'm not a wife or a mother yet. I don't have my own business, yet or any other thing that would place me in a specific group.

At first, this bothered me, but then I thought to myself, "who are you then? What makes you so different?" So far, at 24, this is what I've come up with: I am a daughter who believes making her parents proud is the greatest way I can repay them, yet I will live my life on my own terms and according to my God-given purpose. I am a sister who will die for my younger siblings and I want them to grow in life knowing that they can look to me to give some guidance and to bail them out when they can't tell Daddy and Mommy. I am a friend and I want my true friends to know that I'll always be loyal, honest and present. But more importantly, I am royal because I am birthed from the Creator on purpose and with purpose!
