We talked about creating a budget spreadsheet during the last call. If anyone is interested I have a very basic spreadsheet that I have used for almost 15 years.

I can go back and see exactly what my budgeted expenses were as they compared to my actual expenses for each month. It's a great tool to use to get a financial picture of the bills that you have paid and have yet to pay for the month as well. Oh, it's a good starting point for tax preparation too.

I have fancier more complex spreadsheet now but still continue to use this one on a regular basis. I created a generic version for anyone that may need a starting point. Send me an email to padams@bizlynks.com and I will be glad to email you the file. It is in the Excel 2003 format.
